Do you feel lost and alone? Overwhelmed or panicked? Grieving or angry?
The pain you feel is real. Heartache hurts. Sorrow is a heavy burden.
Panic paralyzes and feeling overwhelmed can often leave you wondering
where to turn. If you feel like this, ask yourself these questions:
Is your life what you want it to be?
The first step is recognizing you want your life to be better and
really wanting to change it. For most of us, making changes - even
for our own good - is difficult. Knowing what we want our lives to
be and what is holding us back often requires outside perspective
- a friend, a relative
or a professional.
Do you want to feel better?
Most who have seen what you are reading right now didn't arrive at
my home page by accident. They wanted their lives to be better and
knew they could not do it alone. They understood they needed help.
Then they picked up the phone and called. Today, they are learning
new ways to manage stress, cope with fears, process grief, and establish
new, healthy patterns for resolving conflict and communicating with
others in their lives.
What do you want your life to be?
Understanding you is the foundation for identifying
your personal values and life goals and that is where we will start
- talking about you; talking about how you feel now, how you want
to feel, and what is getting in the way of you having the life you
desire. Once we know where you are getting stuck, I will help you
discover new ways to communicate with others, better ways to solve
problems, and help you manage the emotions you feel today.
